Solution

Emergency alert calls and mass notification

When a plant shuts unexpectedly, a water supply is cut, a school closes for the day or a storm is on the way, a lot of people need to hear the same message quickly. Ringing round a list by hand is slow, text messages go unread, and afterwards nobody can say with confidence who was actually reached.

BlastX places automated voice calls to a contact list through Bulk Voice Broadcasting, using a recorded message or Text-to-Speech (TTS). Retry Logic calls again when a number does not answer, and Delivery Reports show which calls got through. On site, Broadcast uses Emergency Alert Priority to put an urgent announcement ahead of routine audio.

01

One spoken message to everyone

A phone that rings is harder to overlook than a text. With Bulk Voice Broadcasting, BlastX calls everyone on your list with the same message. Text-to-Speech (TTS) turns typed wording into speech, so you do not have to arrange a recording first, and API Access lets your own software start a campaign.

02

Know who was reached

In an emergency, sending the message is half the job; knowing it arrived is the other half. Delivery Reports show which calls were answered. DTMF Response Capture lets recipients press a key to acknowledge or respond, and Retry Logic attempts unanswered numbers again so that fewer people are missed.

03

Phone calls plus on-site announcements

People on the premises may not be near their phones. Broadcast adds spoken announcements over IP public address speakers, with Emergency Alert Priority overriding scheduled notices and background music, and Zone-based Broadcasting directing the message to the areas affected. These tools add to your statutory alarm and safety systems and do not replace them.

FAQ

Common questions

What is a mass notification call system?

It is software that places automated voice calls to a large contact list at the same time, so one urgent message reaches everyone by phone.

Can people confirm they received an emergency alert call?

Yes. BlastX includes DTMF Response Capture, so recipients can press a key to acknowledge, and the responses are recorded.

What happens if someone does not answer the alert call?

Retry Logic attempts the number again, and Delivery Reports show which calls were not answered so you can follow up another way.

Does an emergency voice call system replace fire alarms or sirens?

No. BlastX and Broadcast are additional ways to inform people and should be used alongside your statutory alarm and safety systems, not in place of them.
