Factory PA system for shop floor announcements
On a shop floor, the people you need to reach are at machines, not at desks, and many are not carrying a phone. A shift change, a line stoppage or a call for a supervisor has to be heard in one bay without disturbing every other bay. A single plant-wide loudspeaker tells everyone everything, so people learn to ignore it.
Broadcast is an IP-based public address system for factories. Zone-based Broadcasting and Multi-zone Control let you page one production line, the stores or the whole plant. Scheduled Announcements cover shift and break timings, and Emergency Alert Priority puts an urgent message ahead of routine audio on the floor.
Page the right bay, not everyone
When maintenance is needed on one line, only that line needs to hear it. Zone-based Broadcasting lets you treat each bay, the warehouse, the canteen and the gate as separate zones, and Multi-zone Control lets an operator pick any combination. Announcements stay relevant, which is what keeps people listening to them.
Shift and break timings on schedule
Shift starts, tea breaks and end-of-shift notices follow the same pattern every working day. Scheduled Announcements play them at the set times without anyone having to walk to a microphone. Where it suits the workplace, Background Music can be played in areas such as the canteen or the packing section.
Controlled centrally and from other software
Plants are spread out, and the person making an announcement is often not on the floor. Remote Management lets authorised staff control zones and schedules from a central point.
