Solution

IVR system for business calls

An IVR (interactive voice response) system greets callers and routes them without a receptionist: "press 1 for sales, 2 for support". It makes a business reachable on one number and sends each call to the team that can help.

NetLumen offers two ways to do this — a visual IVR designer inside the CorePBX phone system, and a conversational IVR powered by the VoiceAI voicebot.

01

Design IVR menus visually

CorePBX includes an IVR designer for building call menus, combined with call queues and ACD, hunt groups and voicemail to email for what happens after the caller chooses.

02

Conversational IVR with voice AI

VoiceAI replaces keypad menus with natural speech: callers say what they need in Kannada, Hindi or English, and the voicebot routes or resolves the request, with fallback to a live agent.

03

Outbound IVR calls

For outbound messages that need a keypad response — confirmations, surveys, reminders — BlastX sends voice broadcasts and captures DTMF input.

FAQ

Common questions

What is an IVR system?

IVR (interactive voice response) is a phone system feature that plays a menu to callers and routes the call based on the key they press or what they say.

What is the difference between IVR and conversational IVR?

Traditional IVR uses keypad menus. Conversational IVR uses voice AI so callers describe their need in their own words. NetLumen offers both, through CorePBX and VoiceAI.

Can I build multi-level IVR menus?

Yes. The CorePBX IVR designer is used to build IVR call menus and route callers to queues, hunt groups or extensions.
